The entire unit comes in knock down condition and assembled at site by professional technicians. The entire outer surface of the room is of 16 SWG Sheet of CRC forming modules and are assembled. Interior is 100 mm (4”) thick acoustic treatment. This is to achieve desired insulation for external Noise to achieve MPANL* (maximum permissible ambient noise level) for faithful audiometry. ACOUSTICAL TREATMENT :
Interior is acoustic panels of plywood with high density insulation material rockwool or equivalent with perforated hard board for providing acoustical aperture. Also acoustical tiles would be used for ceiling to give good ceiling transmission class. This forms low and high frequency absorbers combination for frequency balancing, Double glazed, bubble free glass window of variable thickness would be provided. This could have closing and locking mechanism for protection. Acoustically treated & air tightened door would be provided with compression material super Lon. Closing mechanism consists of magnetic locking / door closer. Acoustical flooring mat would be provided inside.
Pre-wired electrics ready to use is connected inside. One number of 12 W - CFL lamp is provided for illumination to provide Light intensity of 200 Lux at 26"" working level. The special connection is provided for BERA testing with 5A switch socket having separate ground.
JACK PANEL :
Completely pre-wired Jack panel is provided below window with 8 special purposed 6.5 mm female socket with stereo & mono. Connections are made with patch cords. The patch panel allows circuits to be arranged and rearranged by plugging and unplugging the patch cords.
An otoscope or auriscope is a medical device which is used to look into the ears. An otoscope potentially gives a view of the ear canal and tympanic membrane or eardrum. The presence of cerumen (ear wax), shed skin, pus, canal skin edema, foreign body, and various ear diseases can obscure any view of the eardrum and thus severely compromise the value of otoscopy done with a common otoscope. The most commonly used otoscopes consist of a handle and a head. The head contains a light source and a simple low-power magnifying lens
