Behind-the-Ear (BTE)
BTE hearing aids are worn behind the ear, with a small tube or wire connecting the hearing aid to an earmold or speaker that sits inside the ear canal. BTE devices are known for their power and are suitable for individuals with mild to profound hearing loss. Their larger size allows for more powerful amplification and longer battery life.

Receiver-in-Canal (RIC)
RIC hearing aids are similar to BTE models but with a key difference: the receiver (speaker) is placed inside the ear canal instead of in the main body of the hearing aid. This design offers more natural sound quality and is discreet, as the device is smaller and less noticeable.

Completely-in-Canal (CIC)
CIC hearing aids are one of the smallest and most discreet models available, as they fit entirely inside the ear canal. These hearing aids are virtually invisible when worn, making them ideal for people who prioritize discretion. They are typically recommended for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss.

In-the-Canal (ITC)
ITC hearing aids sit partially in the ear canal and are slightly larger than CIC models, which allows them to have additional features such as directional microphones.
